I subscribed to Claude and immediately put it to work on two things that matter to me: job applications / tracking, and building this site.

On those fronts it was excellent. Drafting, iterating, keeping context across applications, and knocking out clean static HTML for d11s.space — Claude earned its keep.

Where it felt weaker was local computer-use. Driving the actual machine — files, desktop, the messy bits of a real Linux day — never felt as solid as the writing and coding side.

The other friction was product surface area. Chat, Cowork, Code… related, but fragmented. I kept context-switching between modes instead of staying in one coherent loop. Still a strong tool for the work I hired it for; just not the seamless local agent experience I wanted next.
